Welcome to My Fundraiser for BC Cancer Foundation
On Sunday, November 8th, I am participating in Beat the Crap out of Cancer XVII. We unite together as martial artists flying no colors or flags for a day of fun and friendly sparring to raise awareness and funds in support of cancer research and care at BC Cancer.
My family like many others has had their lives impacted by cancer. My grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer, lymphoma, and skin cancer over the years before eventually passing away in December of last year in part from the disease. Multiple aunts are breast cancer survivors, family friends have lost spouses, and children to various cancers. On November 8th I fight for them. I fight for my family and families like team captain Jeremy who lost his daughter to cancer.
