On Sunday, November 8th, I’ll be participating for the first time as a combatant for the annual Beat the Crap out of Cancer XVII as a part of Hayley’s Honour Guard, a team formed in honour of our captain’s late daughter. On this day, we unite together as martial artists flying no colours or flags for a day of fun and friendly sparring to raise awareness and funds in support of cancer research and care at BC Cancer Foundation.
