Welcome to My Fundraiser for BC Cancer Foundation
I started this fundraiser to raise awareness for cancer. Cancer remains a devastating disease that touches many families. Our family was directly affected with two members surviving breast cancer and one passing from prostate cancer.
Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer are the most common cancers in Canada. Approximately, 5,500 people die each year from either disease. 1 in 8 women are affected by breast cancer.
While substantial progress has been made in cancer treatment, much remains to be done. Your donation will directly contribute to further improve the outcomes for cancer patients.
