How are donations collected?
Donations to your tribute fundraiser can be made online or by cheque, mail, or phone.
When setting up your tribute page, you also have the option to direct your fundraising to an area of cancer care or research that is personally meaningful to you. A member of our Community Giving team will connect with you to support you through this process.
Where does the money that I raise go?
The funds you raise directly benefit the BC Cancer Foundation, the fundraising partner of BC Cancer, to advance world-class cancer research and innovative care. Every dollar you raise stays right here in B.C. to drive progress and fuel hope for British Columbians facing cancer.

Are donations towards the community fundraiser eligible for a tax receipt?
The BC Cancer Foundation will determine which donations are eligible for tax receipts in accordance with CRA Guidelines. No promises of tax receipts may be made on the Foundation’s behalf.
If you have any questions, please contact us to chat about tax receipts before promoting your event.
What will my tribute page include?
Fundraising tribute page features can be fully personalized. It will include:
- Customizable fundraiser details, in your own words
- The ability to add photos
- A personalized fundraising URL that’s easy to share
- An “honour roll” list of donors who have contributed
How do I reset my password?
If you can’t remember your password, click “Login” in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
In the login window, select “Forgot your password?” found under the email and password fields. Then, enter your email address. Instructions to reset your password will be sent to you.
